Queen has been very active in the community through the Chamber of Commerce, NCTA / WISE and women-owned organizations such as NAWBO, WBENC, Webgrrls, and more. Frances is fervent about promoting entrepreneurship, women breaking through corporate “glass ceilings,” and math and science careers for young women.  In a partnership with the community, she has been encouraging young women to explore careers in technology. 

Frances is now one of two women who have been awarded both the NAWBO Rising Star award (for business owners with companies less than five years old) in 2003 and the Woman Business Owner of the Year award.    

Humbled by this recognition, Frances remarked "NAWBO has come to mean a lot to me, which makes winning this award an unbelievable honor.  It is wonderful to be recognized by your peers.  I have found NAWBO to be invaluable to me and my business, finding support and encouragement from the other women.  I feel that we have been busy promoting a “good ole’ girls network”, which has helped women in business to thrive and succeed”.
